Sally + Dave’s chose New Years Eve to hold their Combermere Abbey Wedding. They wanted a big party to celebrate their marriage and by heck they did just that. Sally + Dave wanted to make sure 2015 New Years Eve would be remembered by all their guests as one fun packed day!
After a chilled morning drinking plenty of champagne in the lodges on the Combermere Estate these guys headed over to the combermere glasshouse to get married. It was a crisp but beautifully bright winters day and as the sun shone through the windows, Sally walked down the aisle with her dad to an eagerly waiting Dave. The ceremony went off in style and when it was announced that they were officially man + wife Sally + Dave gave the biggest fist pump we have ever seen!
A real highlight we remember about Sally + Dave’s wedding was the speeches. We were warned by Sally + Dave that Dave’s best man would not be holding back with his stories of Dave. Dave was his best man a few years earlier and revealed some rather embarrassing stories. Well, we can tell you now that Dave’s best man held NOTHING back. The room were in tears, hysterics, shock and raised eyebrows. We talk about this speech often to our couples as both of us had tears rolling down our faces. Put it this way, we will never look at a bottle of suntan lotion in the same light ever again! (thanks Dave 😉 )
The dance floor was packed from 8pm until Big Ben chimed at 12 and the party cannon’s went off, things then went up a gear and people really started letting their hair down. It really was a great way for everyone to see in the New Year. Sally + Dave, you really know how to throw a good party and we are so glad we got to share both your wedding day at Combermere Abbey and New Years Eve with you both and your friends and family.
What a great way to end our 2015.
