With the leaves being on the ground and turning those lovely orange and yellows we thought it would be great to share this gorgeous Autumn Wedding. Tom and Kim married back in November 2015 at St.John’s in Sandbach. This was followed by the reception at Combermere Abbey Wedding.
After a very chilly but bright start to the day we both arrived with Tom + Kim. We both had the most relaxed morning with these two and their families before taking the drive to the church. The church was absolutely stunning and the most beautiful Autumnal light poured through the stained glass windows of the church as they made their wedding vows. We just had to keep Tom + Kim back for some portraits in this beautiful Autumn light and it was so worth it!
Tom + Kim hopped into the back of the Bentley wedding car and headed to Combermere Abbey as the rain fell. Champagne, confetti and congratulations in Combermere glasshouse followed. We were then greeted by the most magnificent rainbow as we took them for wedding portraits. Not only were we blessed with the beautiful church light we also had a beautiful double rainbow in the golden autumn sun. Tom + Kim also braved the elements for us. We are so very grateful that they did as even though the sun was out it was also pretty flippin’ cold! After a set of very emotional speeches we headed out into the grounds of Combermere to shoot some night portraits. We made use of some of the floodlights that were dotted about. It was so worth it for the lovely pictures that we got.
Combermere Abbey Weddings are becoming a firm favourite wedding venue of ours. Tom + Kim were the first to book us at Combermere Abbey. Since then we have had the pleasure to shoot a few more weddings there including a New Year’s Eve wedding. We’re pretty excited to share these others with you all in the coming weeks.
Thank you Tom + Kim for having us along to document your day and another big thanks for the Gin.
