Let’s take you back to May 2015 for the beautiful Wedding of Zoe + Tom. This colourful wedding took place at All Saints Church before heading off to the reception, Utopia Broughton Hall Wedding venue.
Colour, Fun and Family describes this wedding the best. When we arrived at Eden on the Broughton Hall Estate we were welcomed with laughter, cuddles, Irish, Hull and Geordie accents and of course a cup of Tea. We had never experienced such a close knit group of family and friends and we immediately felt welcome and part of the group.
After the boys were suited an booted we headed to the church where we excitedly waited for Zoe. What Zoe hadn’t told anyone (apart from us- we like a good secret) was that she would be walked down the aisle to ‘Never Walk Alone’. Tom was as cool as a cucumber until he heard the song play out and got his first glimpse of Zoe, then the tears flowed and not only Tom but most of the people at the ceremony.
After the ceremony the guests launched what felt and looked like a tonne of confetti all over Tom + Zoe as they made their way down the tiny church path, in fact Tom managed to eat quite a bit of it. After picking the confetti out of every nook and cranny we all headed to the walled garden and very colourfully decorated Utopia where we were greeted with warm smiles, drinks and a monster of a BBQ from GFS Catering.
A very funny and emotional speeches were delivered by the usual members of the wedding party, Tom + Zoe’s family surprised them as they sang to them just before their first dance and after that it was party central. This wedding party absolutely ruled the dance floor!
We have massive love for Zoe + Tom for letting us be part of their wedding and also for inviting us to the family get together the day after where we ate the best Hull Pies and our little Fearney stole the show and nabbed the hot tub at Eden all to herself! Tom + Zoe our new friends for life, we love you guys!!
