Bolton Abbey Autumn Wedding

As we close into the winter months we thought it would be great to share our last Autumn Wedding of 2019. When Trish + James contacted us to ask us to shoot their Bolton Abbey Autumn Wedding we were very excited. Their plans sounded lovely and we love shooting at The Cripps Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey. Not only this but these guys were getting married at Linton Church where we shot our lovely friends Sam + Hannah’s Wedding way back in 2013. It was great to see the same vicar was there to conduct the ceremony.

Paul arrived with Trish at Grassington House Hotel where she was getting ready having a chilled morning with her bridesmaid while Kelly headed to see James at his family home. It was a great morning weather-wise as originally, the weather forecast earlier in the week was scheduled to be torrential rain. We were actually gifted with beautiful Autumnal golden sunshine.

After everyone was ready we all headed to Linton to await the arrival of Trish. Just as she arrived the rain appeared but only for a brief spell.

James just about held it together while Trish walked to join him at the beautiful Linton Church. The ceremony concluded and everyone headed out into the gorgeous Autumn sun to throw confetti/leaves over these guys.

After the last of the confetti was thrown, and let us tell you there was LOADS of it (YESSSS) we headed to the car. Not any car but T+J’s car had an actual rocket strapped to the top of the roof. Definitely a first for us!

We drove towards Burnsall with the rocket strapped to the roof to take some pictures of these guys in the Autumn sun before heading to the Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey. There may have been a climb over a gate and past a no entry sign, but it was worth it.

Everyone mingled/chatted in the barn before taking their places to hear the speeches. Trish made a wonderful speech followed by James and everyone tucked into the delicious food/feast that The Tithe Barn provided before cutting the cake and dancing into the night.
