We headed to London back in April to The Devonshire Terrace to shoot the wedding of Emma-Claire + Luke. E-C + L live in the heart of the City and wanted to make sure that the wedding incorporated their love for London.
First off, we headed to the bridal preps at The Threadneedles Hotel where we met Emma-Claire and the girls. They were all super excited and we were greeted by the biggest and warmest smiles you could wish for. Emma-Claire looked a million dollars in her dress. We love it when a bride loves her dress so much she swishes and twirls and this was Emma-Claire. I am sure you will agree she looked amazing.
We headed to the church to meet Luke and the rest of the wedding party. Emma-Claire + Luke were married in the church where Luke had been going to since he was a child. It’s a beautiful church that you could easily miss. A small doorway off the street leads you into this incredible church.
After the ceremony the wedding party all took the short walk through Liverpool Street Station onto The Devonshire Terrace. We headed out around the cool, urban streets of London for the bridal portraits before heading inside for the speeches. Luke made a very emotional speech and his brother speech was fantastic! He managed to get hold of a diary that Luke wrote when he was little about how he was going to take over the world. One of the best speeches we have ever heard!
Into the evening Emma-Claire + Luke cut their amazing Choccywoccydoodah Cake and shared it with all their evening guests and yes, we may have had a piece or two or three 😉
Here are a selection of our favourite images from this Devonshire Terrace Wedding.
