Eleven Didsbury Park Wedding
It’s not often that I (Kelly) get to shoot a wedding solo and this is one wedding without I shot without my sidekick. When Kate originally contacted us just a few months before her and Alan’s Eleven Didsbury Park Wedding for a peak date in July we just happened to be available! Kate explained that the wedding would only be very intimate, informal and only needed a few hours of coverage. It sounded so lovely that I just had to be a part of their Didsbury House/Park Hotel Wedding. We shot a wedding previously at Great John Street in Manchester so I knew how beautiful the venues would be and I wasn’t wrong.
The Wedding was just as expected. I met Kate at Eleven Didsbury Park where she was in the final stages of climbing into that gorgeous Ghost Dress. It was all fun and laughter at bridal prep. It was an open door policy and everyone came to see Kate and her two lively and fun boys while they were getting ready. Once everyone was dressed we headed outside towards Didsbury House Hotel where the wedding ceremony took place.

I quickly headed off in front to meet Alan and see the last of the guests get seated before Kate arrived with the boys.
When Kate reached Alan at the end of the aisle it was all smiles, readings and talks about ‘Who has the most fun’ and they certainly did.
After the emotional ceremony everyone headed outdoors to throw the confetti just before we had a light rain shower. It was brollies up heads down and onwards back down the street to Eleven Didsbury House.
The drinks flowed and the canapés were plentiful when the rain stopped and everyone managed to head out onto the gardens to enjoy the celebrations. Before I left a handful of relaxed speeches were held while everyone huddled round to listen.
I am sure Kate + Alan had a wonderful evening with their family and friends and it was a great pleasure to spend time documenting part of their day.
