A Colourful and Quirky Farm Wedding
Where on earth do we start with Jules + Andrew’s Colourful and Quirky Wellbeing Farm Wedding? Jules + Andrew are the kind of people you meet and you instantly want to be best friends with them. Andrew is a cheeky Welsh guy with a great sense of humour and Jules is the happiest lady you would ever wish to meet!
Groom prep happened near the venue in a good old TraveLodge on the motorway. The cheeky chaps crammed into the hotel room and drank some pretty amazing and VERY strong rum and the girls had a giggle in a nearby airbnb while having their hair and make-up done.
Wellbeing Farm Wedding
The whole wedding was held at The Wellbeing Farm. When we arrived we we fell in love. This venue is brilliant. Full of rustic features in the barn and decorated with amazing and quirky details. It was absolutely perfect for Jules and Andrew and we can totally see why they chose this place. Not only that the venue is awesome but it also played a part in their relationship as it was where they went on their first date to pet the Llamas.
When Jules arrived she was full of happy tears whilst Andrew nervously waited inside for Jules. When Andrew first clapped eyes on Jules walking up the aisle he started waving at her, not like a quick hand wave but more like throwing is arm side to side like a mad man from the top of the aisle which set Jules off laughing, waving back and that had the whole wedding party in hysterics too. It was brilliant to capture and one of our favourite wedding ceremony moments to date!
Llamas at your wedding
After the very happy and smiley ceremony was complete everyone headed outside. The guests were greeted buy Llamas, Donkeys and even Alpaca’s. Jules + Andrew are massive fans of Llamas because of that first date so Wellbeing Farm was the perfect wedding venue for them.
Singing Waiters Wedding Entertainment
Now, Jules and Andrew kept a secret on their wedding day from all of their guests but we were in on the secret. J+A decided they wanted to entertain the guests in some way so they hired Singing Waiters. The singing Waiters served the food and drinks like they were staff members and nobody had any idea who they were. When one of the waiters fell to the floor in front of the top table and dropped a massive bucket of cutlery, the room went silent, guests jumped to his aid or gasped. As he was helped to his feet he burst out into song. It was hilarious and from that moment on everyone was out of their seats partying, standing on chairs or Love training around the room. This is how it continued right throughout the night!
Party Time
After the not so slow dance everyone headed on the dance floor or outside to hear some awesome tunes being played by the guitarist. Jules + Andrew alongside a load of guests ended up on the floor singing Sit Down by James at the top of their voices. In-between singing to James and dancing Andrew came back dressed as a Banana. Yep a Banana. We still have no idea why but it was brilliant. Just like these two.
Jules + Andrew you made us laugh so much that our tummies hurt when we got home from your wedding. What a truly brilliant day.
