A Luxury Wedding at Broughton Hall and Sanctuary

Pre Wedding Photo Shoot in Leeds

There is so much to say about these two that we don’t really know where to start. After meeting both of them we knew that their wedding was just going to be wonderful! Gemma + Terry opted to have a Pre Wedding Shoot where we headed to the streets of Leeds. We photographed them down back alleys, in the sunshine and also enjoyed a cocktail too. We chatted nonstop about their Luxury Broughton Hall Wedding Plans.

Luxury Wedding in North Yorkshire

We have shot loads of times around the Broughton Sanctuary Estate. This wedding was our first in the main Broughton Hall house and we knew that this wedding would give a totally different set of photographs to any other we’ve shot at Broughton Sanctuary. Nestled in the rolling North Yorkshire Hills just on the outskirts of Skipton this Luxurious Country House Wedding Venue totally lives up to its grandeur from the outside. It’s truly stunning with ornate detail everywhere and gives you a sense of going back in time.

Luxury Wedding Style but Still Focused on Fun

The main thing that Gemma + Terry wanted more than anything for their wedding was for everyone to have fun and they definitely lived up to it.

Gemma and the girls got ready at Eden which is on the estate of Broughton Hall and Terry got ready with all the family and friends at the main house before they all headed off to the little village church just on the hill a short drive from Broughton Hall.

After they said their vows and signed the registers and got washed in clouds of confetti they hopped on board a vintage VW camper van and made their way back to Broughton Hall. Canapés were enjoyed on the lawns whilst fizz was pimped from Gemma’s homemade ‘pimp your prosecco station’. You can see more HERE.

Wedding Reception at Broughton Sanctuary

The meal and speeches took place in the Hall’s entertaining rooms after which everyone meandered their way through the immaculate Walled Gardens to Utopia. From here the architectural glass building hosted great music played by Warning Tones who are one of our favourite wedding bands to date. With great music usually comes epic dancing and sure enough there was a brilliant dance-off which included the splits, rolls and even a sprained ankle.
