Sarah + Alex's Manchester Town Hall Wedding

I know, I know. It’s been almost 7 months since we last blogged. Shame on us! We have been such busy bees of late. (check out Instagram #clappersofficebuild on Instagram to see). As you can imagine we have SOOOOOO many flipping awesome weddings to share with you so we randomly selected Sarah + Alex’s Manchester Town Hall Wedding to break the blogging drought.

Back in August 2015 these two party animals tied the knot in the most memorable ceremony ever. Imagine a sports event happening outside of Manchester Town Hall. You get to have your picture taken with the legend Linford Christie. During the ceremony the gun goes off just before you say ‘I do’ and scares half of the guests to death. There is a singalong half way through the ceremony of Bjork and the whole wedding party, including the registrar joins in! Yes that happened too.

When Sarah + Alex first contacted us to shoot their wedding they described it as ‘dancing, ducks, ales and a big fun colourful party’ and my gosh it certainly lived up to that. When we arrived at the marquee after walking through the beautiful Deer Park at Dunham Massey there was colour, games, good food and a great big dance-floor, real turkey eggs as a wedding gift oh and not to mention 2 epic wedding cakes! One of the cakes was a real wedding cake, the other was a joke cake that Alex + Sarah drew together for his sister when they were planning the wedding. She actually made it! Seriously it was bloody brilliant! We also witnessed the most confetti ever known to man during their first dance to Rudimental. I think 4 went off altogether. It was spectacular.

Sarah + Alex certainly know how to throw a bloody good wedding. Thanks for having us along!
