Yorkshire Garden Wedding
When Kamilla + Christian asked us to shoot their Yorkshire Garden Wedding we were over the moon. A year later when it was supposed to be (damn you Covid-19!) we finally arrived to capture their amazing day.
We arrived on the morning at K+C’s family home where we met Kamilla and her family and to see the amazing Yorkshire Garden Wedding set up. Their home has some real heritage to it with links to the Mayflower and even King Henry VIII It looked absolutely amazing with their garden being transformed with the beautiful Tipi’s supplied by Garden Weddings Tipi Hire. We were greeted by Jeff and the rest of the dogs before we headed indoors to see Kamilla and the rest of the bridal party. Kel then headed off to see Christian and the rest of the groom’s party at the Ye Olde Bell Hotel and Spa in Retford.
The one thing we do need to talk about is Kamilla’s amazing dress. The fabric was supplied by Harrington Fabric and Lace and the dress was made in New Zealand. The dress looked amazing, so unique and Kamilla looked absolutely fabulous. We have never seen a dress like it.
Once everyone was ready we all headed to the church to see these guys finally, a year later tie the knot. A special shout out is certainly needed for Mark the Priest/Vicar. What an absolute legend. He met Kel when she arrived with a big smile on his face and a tonne of banter and wit. Mark absolutely made the wedding ceremony and we cannot thank him enough. Kamilla arrived and the ceremony commenced after a few tears from both of these guys. Jeff made his star appearance by being the chief ring bearer wandering down the aisle with the rings securely hooked on his fabulous bow-tie.
Tipi Wedding
After the ceremony, we all headed back to the family grounds to feast on the grazing board from Bears Pantry which looked incredible while everyone caught up and chatted together.
The speeches were held in the tipi and there were plenty of tears especially when the recorded messages from New Zealand were being played. There was a lot of love in the room for K+C especially from those who couldn’t travel on the day.
After the speeches were finished everyone danced to the sounds of Pandora’s Duke Box who again were fabulous.
C+K waited so long for their wedding as Covid took their original date but finally, you did it! It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you both from booking us until the wedding day. When we arrived with you on the day it felt like we were shooting a friends wedding.
A big shout out also to Garden wedding Tipi Hire for helping C+K only a few weeks before. Campbells Flowers you made the Tipi look absolutely amazing! We always are so excited when we work alongside you as you are amazing at what you create and do. A big thanks to Tom at Brown’s Videography. It is always a pleasure to shoot alongside you. thanks for the bants and being so great to work alongside. We cannot wait to see the video. The last thanks is to Jeff the most handsome and wonderful dog ring bearer.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos.
I am one of the many that watched live as Covid meant i couldn’t make it over for their special day. Just lovely to see these, all those little gems that we couldn’t see on the video.
You captured them perfectly.
Thank you
