Next on the blog is this amazing Normans Wedding of Katie + Alex. We were recommended to K+A by another local Leeds wedding photographer who happens to be Al’s brother. He’s a great photographer (not as good as us, of course, haha) so it was so humbling to be recommended to shoot his brother’s wedding.

We Love Bride and Groom Prep

Kel felt a part of the Stott family as soon as she arrived to groom prep and was handed a cuppa tea from Kath (sorry to anyone reading but she’s Kel’s fave mother of the groom to date. Kath is a legend!) Groom prep was filled with so many people. You could just see that the Stott household was the house on the street when the door was open to everyone at any time of the day. Equally, when Paul arrived he was made an honorary member of the bridal party. This is all down to Katie. Katie is the most beautiful, strongest woman we have ever met and we love her! And you Al 😉

The Normans Wedding Ceremony Barn

K+A were married in front of the twinkly lights of the gorgeous Normans Ceremony Barn in North Yorkshire where we have had the pleasure of shooting previously (The Normans Barn Wedding and Betsy + Dan – The Normans – Colourful Barn Wedding. The confetti was tossed over the newlyweds before everyone headed out into the courtyard to eat the amazing food and drink provided by our good friends at Hog + Apple.

It was a gorgeous hot sunny wedding day for K+A so rather than being hot and sweaty we wanted them to enjoy the earlier part of their wedding day with their loved ones. Instead, we waited for that gorgeous light of Golden Hour and it was well worth the wait to shoot their Bride and Groom Portraits just across the road in the Wheatfield!

Honestly, we felt part of your crew from the moment we arrived and the moment we left. We loved spending time with you and absolutely loved taking your photos. Katie your mum would have been so proud of you and Alex. If we were allowed to have a favourite wedding couple you would be on that list. Friends for life!
