Colourful Wedding
Small London Chiswick Wedding. Emily + Rob were supposed to get married in 2020. That never happened. They delayed their date until 2021 and unfortunately, due to restrictions on travelling they had to delay their wedding again until 2022 as their closest family and friends are currently in different countries. However, Emily + Rob still wanted to get married so, they decided to get married twice! We will get to hang out with these two awesome people again next year for another celebration and cannot bloody wait for part 2!
The wedding was a small affair that started at their beautiful home in Chiswick. It was so lovely to finally see E+R again as we first met these guys back in 2017 when they were guests at Debs + Andrew’s Wedding at Bowcliffe Hall. It was also so good to be back in London. It had been almost 2 years since we headed to the big smoke and it was good to be back in the City. The morning was full of laughter and a lot of it at both Bride + Groom prep. E+R were so excited to finally get married after a full year of waiting.
E+R opted to meet each other for a first look before the wedding ceremony and this was held in their beautiful communal gardens in Chiswick. This was such a lovely moment for them both to finally see each other after waiting so long to get married. Rob just about held it together where Emily showed off her beautiful beaming smile which never left her face all day!
After the first look, we jumped in the car to head to Feltham Lodge Register Office where these guys and 8 of their closest family and friends would see them finally get married. Everyone else who wasn’t able to attend the wedding hopped onto the video link so they got to see the event virtually. Rob’s parents made a special appearance as a very real-life cardboard cut out and they even got involved with the formal pictures afterwards. Once the ceremony was completed E+R headed out onto the gardens to be showered with confetti before jumping in the car again to move on to the Duke of Sussex pub in Chiswick.
When we arrived at The Duke Of Sussex Pub more friends awaited their arrival to join them for an afternoon of celebrations. Everyone headed outside into the pub gardens where they were served delicious tapas canapes and champagne. We left E+R to celebrate for an hour before we jumped on the overground and headed to Camden for some pictures of these two wonderful humans.
Colourful Wedding Photos in London
All throughout Covid we kept in touch with E+R and discussed the options of their wedding and what we could do. Their wedding, which will still go ahead next year will be held in the countryside in the most gorgeous venue so we wanted to go total opposite for their images to give these guys something different. We decided together to head to Camden where we know we will always find some colourful backgrounds and interesting light and oh boy did we! There is something really magical about the light in central London. It’s bloody LUSH! It also helps when you have such a bloody wonderful couple like E+R who were happy to troop around London Town with us two crazy cats.
Thank you Emily + Rob, we are so excited to be spending more time with you both in 2022 but for now, here are a few images from London…
