Woolas Barn Wedding Showcase
At the beginning of January, we were asked by our lovely friend Emily of Emily K Weddings if we would like to attend The Woolas Barn Wedding Showcase. The wedding venue was going to be dressed ready for a wedding so all booked and potential couples could view the venue at it’s finest. We were there to capture all the beautiful details on the open day and to chat with couples about their wedding photography at Woolas Barn.
Woolas is, up to now not a venue we have shot before but after being welcomed on the open day we are super excited to shoot some weddings there.
The venue is full of charm. A working farm with all the rustic touches and a hint of urban industrial too. The Venue is fully licenced for civil ceremonies so the whole wedding can take place here. There are 4 areas to the venue. The Stables – Which is now known as the Ceremony Room. The Courtyard – A place where you can enjoy drinks and canapes after the wedding ceremony. The Granary – The Bar area, Reception, the snug and the party area. The Lambing Shed – The Wedding feast room with huge windows and a vaulted ceiling. It’s a hidden wedding venue gem in Yorkshire.
Outside there is plenty of scope for great relaxed and informal wedding photographs either in the Orchards, Courtyard, using the wonderful farm buildings as a backdrop or in the height of summer we’re told there are corn fields a short walk away from the venue where I’m sure there are some fantastic Evening sunset portraits to be had.
Thank you, Emily, Woolas Barn and the rest of the wonderful suppliers. It was a truly wonderful day. Here are some images for The Woolas Barn Wedding Showcase
