A Food Lover’s Wedding Venue
Earlier in the summer we had the most amazing time shooting a wedding at The Hovels at Harewood Estate, and we have been excited to share it with you on the blog ever since! This wedding was an absolute dream come true for any food lover out there. We mean, seriously, the food was out of this world! But let’s back up a bit and start from the beginning.
Grace Loves Lace Wedding Dress and a First Look
Alex looked absolutely radiant in her Grace Loves Lace dress, and Simon was looking sharp in his Michelsberg suit. They both had this incredible energy, and all through wedding preps you could tell how excited they were to see each other. Before the ceremony, they had planned for a “first look” moment in the Harewood Estate Holiday Cottages before enjoying a glass of fizz with their closest family and friends on the lawn and let us tell you, it was so emotional. There were tears, laughter, and pure joy. It was beautiful to witness.
Tractor and Trailer Wedding Transport
But here’s where it gets even more exciting. Instead of a traditional wedding car, the couple rode a tractor to the wedding ceremony at The Hovels! How fun is that? And to make it even better, their adorable Dachshund Frankie made a special appearance after the ceremony. I can’t even begin to describe how cute he was. Frankie was just so well-behaved and added such a special touch to the day.

After the ceremony, we headed to the nearby woods for some bridal portraits. The setting was stunning, It was like something out of a fairytale. A+S were not into being too staged or posy and that was just perfect for our relaxed fun style of shooting wedding couples.
Overall, it was a day full of love, laughter, and incredible food. The Hovels at Harewood Estate provided the perfect backdrop for this North Yorkshire wedding, and as a photographer, it was an absolute joy to capture all the special moments.
