Albert Hall Manchester Wedding
One of the questions we get asked most when we are at weddings is, ‘What is the biggest wedding you have ever shot’. Our weddings usually range from 30-150 people but our biggest wedding currently is over 400 people. We thought that it was about time we blogged Roy + Claire’s most amazing Albert Hall Manchester Wedding in Manchester.
When we first were contacted by Roy + Claire we were really excited. It sounded like it was going to be a massive party and that is just what it was.
Roy + Claire just wanted to get married surrounded by their beautiful children, family and friends and then head off to have a good old knees up!
The day started in Manchester with Roy getting ready at the Raddison Blu hotel in Manchester and Claire getting ready at their gorgeous home. Both bride prep and groom prep were full of fun, laughter and excitement.
The wedding took place at the gorgeous Manchester Town Hall (which is sadly closed right now for renovations) before everyone spilled out into Albert Square to a mass of confetti canons and the amazing Performing Artists who were there to entertain the guests all day.
All the guests were led by the artists and entertainers through the streets of Manchester onto Albert Schloss where everyone was welcomed with drinks and their famous Bratwurst (Holy Moly head to Albert Schloss to try their menu. It’s absolutely amazing!). Albert Schloss is one of Manchesters busiest bars and has an Alpine Apres ski bar feel to it. It’s incredible. After everyone had arrived, mingled and drank plenty of cocktails at Schloss it was time to head next door into one of Manchester’s most beautiful buildings Albert Hall where the wedding breakfast would take place.
As we walked into Albert Hall we were blown away. It looked absolutely amazing and everyone was wowed by the beauty as they all took their seats. We have included a lot of wedding details pictures in this blog as we really want you to see how amazing this place looked! A place that can one day be a music venue filled with people moshing or dancing can also look amazing the next day dressed as a wedding venue.
Food was served and speeches were given and over 400 people raised the roof as each speaker took to the stage. The atmosphere was electric!
As speeches closed everyone headed back downstairs to Albert Schloss to enjoy the cake cutting, first dance and to be entertained by drag artists, dancers, cabaret performers, fire breathers and Promenaders including enjoying many amazing cocktails from Schloss’ wonderful cocktail list. Try the Pornstar Martini, you will not be disappointed!
There is so much more we could write about in this wedding but we will let the pictures do the talking. It was amazing!
Here are our favourites from the Albert Hall Manchester Wedding. This certainly was a massive highlight of our career. Thank you Roy + Claire for having us along!
Shout out to James from James Andrew Photography for coming along and being a super third shooter!
