Cripps Wedding Venues
Beth + Suj’s Thorpe Garden Wedding FINALLY happened a few weeks ago on Bank Holiday Monday. We say finally because these guys had their wedding delayed twice because of Covid but boy, did they make up for it. What an incredible day!
It started in the morning at their house with Beth and the girls getting ready while Kel went straight to the venue to meet Suj. We have worked at almost all of the Cripps venues to date and Thorpe Gardens has been the one we have been really looking forward to. It’s such a unique venue and Cripps are such an incredible company. You are in very safe hands with these guys. We were super excited because A) We waited a while for B+S wedding and B) We knew it would be one heck of a party which it was! Most definitely to this day in 2021, it’s been our busiest dance floor!
The ceremony was held in the beautiful contemporary glass pavilion building within the walled gardens of the Thorpe Gardens Estate. Suj headed into the room with all his family and friends while they waited for Beth to arrive. Before we carry on with this blog post can we just make sure you all pay attention to Suj and the guys’ suits because they looked absolutely incredible! The ceremony was emotional, funny and heartful. Everyone watched on while they made their vows before heading outdoors to drink, eat and mingle.
Colourful Walled Garden Wedding
B+S seriously have so many close friends. Usually, you have the brides friends and the grooms friends but that didn’t happen at this wedding. It was one big friendship group that are so close and so happy to see these guys tie the knot. We really wanted to be a part of the B+S crew as they were all blummin’ lovely! We really enjoyed taking pictures of them all.
The meal was enjoyed in the yurt on the Estate. After everyone finished their meal the crowd filtered out of the yurt and onto the grass where an impromptu game of cricket commenced where Suj was hit for a six by Beth’s supreme batting skills. The bridesmaids then enjoyed some shaking of their ruffled dresses and running around for some photo ops.
Everyone then eagerly headed back inside the Yurt for the cutting of the cake and to enjoy the speeches. There were tears, bride and maid of honour speeches, raised glasses, laughter and lots of storytelling from B+S Uni days.
We then whisked B+S off for 15 minutes or so of evening portraits. We wandered out of the gardens for a different backdrop with more industrial shutter doors and walls.
By the time we arrived back at the yurt the drinks were flowing, Tequila shots were being ordered, the dancefloor was filling up with shape throwing folks and they partied to the sounds of the DJ and Sax in between sparklers, s’mores and much more dancing.
This wedding was everything. Full of gorgeous colour, laughter, fun, crazy dancing, shots, a bunch of amazing friends and super lovely families.
Thank you so much B+S for being just amazing from the minute you booked us until the wedding day. There have been a few delays with Covid but finally! YOU DID IT. We couldn’t pick a few as we love them all so much so here are 100 of our faves from this fantastic Thorpe Garden Wedding.
