This year has been quite simply, fucking brilliant!! 18 Love Shoots, 42 weddings, 1 trip to USA and 2 workshops and we have just last weekend finished for the year.
We simply don’t know where to start putting it into words.
We have shot in barns, farms, hotels, pubs, tipis, marquees, gardens, churches, cafes, theatres, family homes, roof top terraces, galleries. We have visited Panama, Wales, London, Cheshire, Manchester, the USA, Winchester, Farnham, Sussex, Whitstable, Helmsley, York, Wetherby, Leeds, Skipton, Clitheroe, our home town of sunny Keighley and so many more.
Kelly finally took the plunge and quit her day job to come on board with the business full time and also started working for Boho Weddings which she absolutely loves!!!! We have worked our bloody socks off this year but it has truly been worth it.
We have racked up some mileage, played eye spy along the way, witnessed all sorts of crazy weather. Kelly has been instagrammed sleeping many times again this year. We have laughed so much our faces have ached, 2 pairs of converse have been worn out from all the dancing at weddings this year, We have both cried a bit, ok a lot and we have taken and witnessed so many selfies, Paul discovered his new favourite drink Old fashioned’s, We are guessing that with shooting 42 weddings that at least 84 slices of wedding cake have been devoured this past 12 months.
A lot of people are saying bring on 2015 but we really don’t want to let 2014 go. We have the best couples and we have witnessed some amazing weddings. We still have 20 weddings from 2014 to blog so in January expect to see lots of complete wedding stories on the blog in early 2015
We have had huge support from our families helping with Fearne and Daisy dog when we have been shooting weddings. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are and we owe them the world!
Being a UK wedding photographer isn’t all shooting and having fun and can often be quite lonely when your tied to your computer through the week but we have been lucky to have our fellow togbookers. A group of photographers who are our friends, more like family and our support day in and day out. It’s like working in an office without seeing their ugly faces every day. We love them all to bits and mega excited to see all their faces in January. The UK wedding photography scene is smokin’ hot right now and so many of our favourite wedding photographers are togbookers!
Shelly…you are an amazing woman who has had a tough old year and makes our year look like a walk in the park but through it all she has remained strong. You are an inspiration and we are proud that you’re one of our best mates and glad you took our Glastonbury virginity. Bring on next years cider fest!
Kelly at Boho for supporting Kelly and taking her on an amazing wedding industry journey. She’s a great boss and Kelly is so excited for next year. It’s going to rock!
The biggest thanks has to go out to our couples who have trusted us from the moment they fill out our contact form telling us there will be duck racing or some other crazy shit. You have trekked up muddy forest hills, broken shoes, got dresses dirty, fed us cake, split your trousers, sprayed champagne all over the ceiling, shared the joy of winning the egg and spoon race, ignored warning signs about snakes, but most of all allowed us to be ourselves and be a creative UK wedding photographer whilst documenting your beautiful days.
2015 looks set to be another cracker of a year. We start the wedding season off in February with a wedding in Essex and then shortly after we have a wedding in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. From there we have weddings throughout the UK including heading up to Scotland later in the year which we are very excited about.
If you want to see more of our journey you can view our Best of 2013 blog post here
So without waffling anymore here are some of our favoutrite photographs from 2014 in no particular order…
Fantastic stuff guys! So good. Love that party popper capture! That bw silhouette speech shot. Amazing selfie cow licking image, what a capture! The b/w kissing couple under a bridge is just exquisite. And the guy spinning the child in the air, what a unqiue frame of that! Just a few of my faves. Has been awesome getting to know you both this year – both ‘virtually’, and one half in the flesh – and I feel exactly the same as you about togbook. An awesome year of images here, guys! See you in Jan π
Thank you so much Alan. Your comment truly means so much to us. You are a dear friend and we can wait to see you in jan xx

Thanks Steve. Best of 2015 for you and the family xx
You guys are so good. There are so many dimensions to your work. The cheeky, the quirky, the cool, the alternative, but underpinned by a deep understanding of what weddings are all about, and that’s underlined by the one of the groom being touched on the face by his mum (?) about two thirds of the way down. And the other thing that’s so clear from this collection is how much people love having you around. Excited to meet you both next week! AJ
Wow. From one of our photogods writing a comment like that Adam we truly feel honoured. Group hug next week for sure!
I think from all these its so clear why we asked you guys to be our wedding photographers! Each shot is amazing! You get the best moments and create lasting images for people! xx

Damn dudes, grabbed a cuppa and just had 10 mins of ‘jaw dropping, dribbling coffee and a few expletives thrown in for good measure (in a ‘F**k me that’s a crazy frame’ kind of way), sooooo damn good and I love everything you capture in a wedding, the emotion, the fun and your use of beautiful natural light and shadow!!
HI5’s all around and hope to meet you guys one day!!
Damo x
Jesus H – all this in just one year? Just immense. Simply brilliant.
And the cow selfie will never be bettered…
